In Miraa, “transcription” means converting audio or video content into subtitles so it can be used as learning material.
This conversion starts when you tap “Enable AI Subtitles.”
Miraa will process the entire file and generate subtitles for the whole content in one batch.
Your quota is deducted based on the total duration of the media, not on how long you actually watch it.
We’ve noticed that some users mistakenly believe quota is consumed based on their viewing time — this is not how it works.
For example:
So once you tap “Start AI Subtitles,” the full quota for that file is deducted immediately.
After the conversion is finished:
… does not consume any more transcription quota.
In short, once a file has been converted, you can use it unlimited times without spending any additional quota.
